(Both bugs are equally closed, so don't worry). Explanation: I have compared the build logs for stretch and sid, and this error: Syntax error: spurious char at command end: '=#'. Did you forget double quotes ? which is the error claimed to be fixed in libconfig-model-perl, does effectively not appear anymore in the sid build log. Therefore, this bug, #837613, is the same as #837133. Therefore, I'm doing the reassign and merge that you can see above. The fact that libconfig-model-itself-perl still FTBFS in sid has probably a reason different than the one recently fixed in libconfig-model-perl so I'm going to report it separately to avoid confusion (even if I already posted the build log here). I'm also keeping the subject of this bug as it was originally, i.e. FTBFS in testing with the build log I originally attached, so that it matches exactly the problem diagnosed (and supposedly fixed) in #837133.
