Source: fflas-ffpack Version: 2.2.2-2 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source
Builds of fflas-ffpack 2.2.2-2 for armel, mips, powerpc, and s390x, and the non-release architectures hppa, ppc64, and sparc64, all failed with similar test-suite errors involving Modular<Integer>, as detailed at https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?pkg=fflas-ffpack&ver=2.2.2-2 Previous 2.x builds have also been failing on these architectures, so they all still have version 1.6.0-1 in unstable. Specifically: - On most of these architectures (all but armel), test-lu reports failures of both test cases involving Modular<Integer>. FWIW, for other types, it issues a lot of warnings of the form "120xN pluq verification failed!" (However, those test cases all pass, and the Modular<Integer> tests encounter no such warnings.) - On most of these architectures (again, all but armel), test-echelon crashes after performing three ModularBalanced<int64_t> tests, having presumably moved on to Modular<Integer>. These crashes take the form of a bus error on hppa and a segmentation violation on the remaining architectures. - On all of these architectures, the test-rankprofiles test case involving Modular<Integer> fails, with no details reported. - On all of these architectures, the test-fgemm test case involving Modular<Integer> fails, with copious diagnostic output. There was one additional error on sparc64, which I'll report separately since it didn't occur anywhere else and wasn't obviously related. Could you please take a look? Thanks! -- Aaron M.
