If it used the _pic variant as it should be from the start there would be no problem here. There's no "inheritance" of RC issues here. mccs' bug isn't even blocked by this (maybe valid, now that we get this PIE thingy and _pic being extra seems to be obsolete) wish. Regards, Rene
