Yup, there seem to be some runtime incompatibilitites with the new libjgoodies-*, which were not caught at buildtime. Cf. also the thread starting at https://lists.debian.org/debian-java/2016/12/msg00010.html Probably we'll try with rebuilding the affected packages; for JabRef the good news is that we're working on updating to 3.6 which doesn't have these problems (but needs some wrinkles ironed out before we can upload it).
