Package: dosfstools Version: 2.11-2.1 Severity: grave Trying to creata file system to a USB key, Kingston 512M DataTraveller, causes complete system to hang and all memory is exhausted. Kill -9 takes 15 minutes to stop the mkfs.vfat process.
The USB stick was wiped and partitioned (512M, Primary) with cfdisk(1).
