Package: zsh Version: 5.4.1-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
There's a major regression, which breaks my startup scripts: zira% alias foo=bar zira% foo() { : } zsh: defining function based on alias `foo' zsh: parse error near `()' Well, I'm not sure whether there are other issues or this is a consequence of the above bug, but completions are alo broken. For instance, I can no longer complete on the "man" command. -- Package-specific info: Packages which provide vendor completions: Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Architecture Description +++-==============-============-============-================================= ii curl 7.52.1-5 amd64 command line tool for transferrin ii pulseaudio 10.0-2 amd64 PulseAudio sound server ii systemd 234-2 amd64 system and service manager ii udev 234-2 amd64 /dev/ and hotplug management daem ii vlc-bin 2.2.6-3+b1 amd64 binaries from VLC ii youtube-dl 2017.05.18.1 all downloader of videos from YouTube The following files were modified: /etc/systemd/logind.conf /etc/systemd/system.conf /etc/systemd/journald.conf dpkg-query: no path found matching pattern /usr/share/zsh/vendor-functions/ -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.11.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=POSIX (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages zsh depends on: ii dpkg 1.18.24 ii libc6 2.24-14 ii libcap2 1:2.25-1 ii libtinfo5 6.0+20170715-2 ii zsh-common 5.4.1-1 Versions of packages zsh recommends: ii libc6 2.24-14 ii libncursesw5 6.0+20170715-2 ii libpcre3 2:8.39-4 Versions of packages zsh suggests: ii zsh-doc 5.4.1-1 -- no debconf information
