Hylafax 4.2.5-1 was using the package mime-codecs in order to call /usr/bin/base64-encode when converting TIFF or PDF to attachments.
mime-codecs is no more in Debian, so in hylafax 4.2.5-3 I decided to use /usr/bin/uuencode from sharutils, since it is capable of converting to base64. The new configuration require that MIMENCODE should be set *empty* and that ENCODING should be set to base64 in both copies of the file setup.cache. Could you check if you have such a new setup?
