Package: libnet-domain-tld-perl Version: 1.65-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Although 1.65 is a higher version number than 1.5 which is in stable, it looks like it is an older version. There is no new() contructor. I recommend reverting to the version in stable. Sample code which breaks: use Email::Valid; print (Email::Valid->address(-address => "[EMAIL PROTECTED]", -tldcheck => 1) ? "yes" : "no", "\n");' Output: Can't locate object method "new" via package "Net::Domain::TLD" at /usr/share/perl5/Email/Valid.pm line 169. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-486 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages libnet-domain-tld-perl depends on: ii perl 5.8.8-3 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction libnet-domain-tld-perl recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
