Package: krita
Version: 4.0.4
Severity: serious
Greetings!

As per the reddit thread
https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comments/8t2zgc/maintainers_matter_the_case_against_upstream/

the lead developer of Krita has made it very clear that they want Debian and
other distributions to cease packaging Krita unless they can always package the
latest version. As this is the wish of upstream, I feel that Debian should
immediately honor their wishes and stop packaging Krita, so we can get the
vastly superior version that is packaged in their appimage/flatpak, what have
you.
Regards

Pino made this clear; the licensing still allows us to distribute it, so
we will.

Please re-open this if there is something more compelling than a comment
made on Reddit...
