Dear maintainers,

this is one of the few remaining blockers for the Perl 5.28 transition.

I've forwarded the issue upstream at
  https://github.com/collectd/collectd/issues/2883

I see Fedora is configuring with --disable-werror, so these warnings
does not cause a build failure there. Would you consider doing that
until a solution is implemented upstream?
