Hi Andreas; Thanks for all your work with piuparts. I agree that your proposal would unbreak things for some (fairly small number of) users. On the other hand, I'm not really convinced that emacs should add a breaks for every add-on that is broken. There are more than 300 potential addons. They need to be fixed or removed. I also don't think it really makes sense to delay emacs migration to testing when edb isn't actually in testing. With a popcon of 18, and an RC bug open for almost two years, removing edb seems justifiable. all the best, David
