Yeah, the API is far shorter than the 7000 symbols according to its most recent documentation. I don't think the dropped symbols will cause problems for any third-party drivers. http://sane-project.org/html/ Julien, would you be at all interested in keeping the libsane name but with a Provides: libsane1 ?
