This lets x11-common's postinst complete, making /usr/X11R6/bin a symlink to /usr/bin, but dpkg will think xserver-xorg still owns /usr/X11R6/bin/X -- so when *that* symlink is removed in the next version of the package, I think you'll miss having /usr/bin/X disappear!
