Package: ranger Version: 1.9.2-1 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package ships (or creates) a broken symlink. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): /etc/ranger/data/scope.sh -> /usr/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/ranger/data/scope.sh (ranger) /etc/ranger/data/mime.types -> /usr/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/ranger/data/mime.types (ranger) /etc/ranger/config/rifle.conf -> /usr/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/ranger/config/rifle.conf (ranger) /etc/ranger/config/rc.conf -> /usr/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/ranger/config/rc.conf (ranger) /etc/ranger/config/commands.py -> /usr/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/ranger/config/commands.py (ranger) All the targeted files seem to be shipped as /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/ranger/*/*.* instead. Assuming the package does not work properly without its bits in /etc, I set the severity to serious. cheers, Andreas
