Package: aptly Version: 1.3.0-6 Severity: grave Dear Maintainer,
Since the last update on a Debian testing, 1.3.0+ds1-1 from 1.3.0-6, nothing works anymore. For example: aptly mirror list Error decoding mirror: msgpack decode error [pos 200]: invalid length of bytes for decoding time - expecting 4 or 8 or 12, got 15 Error decoding mirror: msgpack decode error [pos 190]: invalid length of bytes for decoding time - expecting 4 or 8 or 12, got 15 No mirrors found, create one with `aptly mirror create ...`. There are mirrors, two of them. I tried an `aptly db recover`, to no avail. I reverted the installation, i.e. removed the new package and reinstalled the old one, 1.3.0-6. The aforementioned error does not appear anymore. Consequently, it seems to be a packaging/build error. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers buster APT policy: (500, 'buster') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.18.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages aptly depends on: ii bzip2 1.0.6-9 ii gnupg1 1.4.23-1 ii gpgv1 1.4.23-1 ii libc6 2.27-6 ii xz-utils 5.2.2-1.3 aptly recommends no packages.
