Hi, If I'm not mistaken, the aforementioned patch [1] that introduced the dpkg-architecture usage is also responsible for this debian dkms bug [2].
In the bug report for [2] there is a patch provided, but apparently this has not yet been fixed in stable or testing/sid. As a user, I'd be really grateful if these dkms bugs regarding among others mkdeb could be fixed (maybe even in stable). Thanks a lot!
