This autopkgtest failure still prevents mercurial 4.9-2 from migrating 
to testing.

I didn't figure out how to do this, but I patched them out of mercurial.
With this local build of mercurial, only three hg-git tests fail, and 
all with the same:

ProgrammingError: callcommand() cannot be used after commands are sent
