The Debian Perl group has, somewhat unwillingly, inherited the role of upstream maintainer for this native package, when its original author stopped taking care of it. We don't feel we're in a good position to wear this hat and would rather not to. Therefore, we decided at the pkg-perl BoF today at DebConf that we don't want this package to be included in Bullseye, unless someone else steps up and becomes its upstream maintainer. I'll file bugs against all reverse-dependencies to alert their maintainer about this situation. Cheers, -- intrigeri
