It seems there is a dependency issue when installing sysvinit-core as indicated in following trace

Your package database is in an inconsistent state: you have
pinned systemd to be removed, but it is currently installed.

Fix either that first (remove systemd) or temporarily comment
out the pinning, then do the installation, removing systemd,
then restore the pinning if necessary. (The latter has a
higher chance of success.)
