Hi,
These bugs (dependence on python2, pygtk) are expected to be solved in
the upcoming cylc-8 releases.
Unfortunately cylc-8 is feature incomplete (current alpha is server-side
only, the GUI work not released), and will depend on stuff thats not
packaged yet.
cylc_8.0a1-1 is in Experimental and I'm packaging upcoming expected
dependencies. cylc-7.8.4 may be backported to buster.
