Sorry, I missed that, I may be wrong, but after a quick glance, that problem in experimental seems likely related to the hdf5 transition to the new schema, not to digikam itself. IMHO libhdf5-103 should not have been dropped in experimental. It should have instead become a transitional package depending on packages with its previous contents, those having properly versioned breaks. That would make the system work and allow dependencies to be upgraded later (although this last should not be done in experimental).
