If you're asking about the decision to introduce IPv-only buildds, then I don't really know the answer. I was unable to find any announcement/discussion about an introduction of ipv6 only buildds, unfortunately. But the buildds are there - the perl team has had this happen on several occasions during normal uploads. We (perl team) did a full archive rebuild to assess the impact, which seems to be around 25 non-perl-related packages. We should probably add a usertag and maybe post more generally about this to centralise the discussion. Best Dominic
