I apologize for the empty form, this was the first time I used
reportbug. I hope it is ok if I answer the question in this message.

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

The latest update of Emacs on debian buster.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

     I started Emacs.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

It raised an error that it couldn't construct a closure.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I expect Emacs to be able to construct a closure, and parse my
     configuration.
