It had been fixed in that version (by removing vimcurrent) but we re-added vimcurrent in 1:7.0-017+5 which caused the behavior you reported. This behavior was also noted in bugs #370012 and #373117 and is fixed in 1:7.0-017+6 which should be hitting the mirrors today.
