Source: plocate Version: 1.1.7-2 X-Debbugs-CC: debian...@lists.debian.org Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: regression
Dear maintainer(s), With a recent upload of plocate the autopkgtest of plocate fails in testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of plocate from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In tabular form: pass fail plocate from testing 1.1.7-2 all others from testing from testing I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. Currently this regression is blocking the migration to testing [1]. Can you please investigate the situation and fix it? It seems you forgot that one of your tests tries to coinstall both mlocate and plocate. With your latest changes, that's not intended to be possible, making the test fail. Please drop the test, or fix it. I think you could just depend on mlocate and run apt-get install plocate in the test.
