Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'stable'. It installed fine in 'stable', then the upgrade to 'sid' fails because it tries to overwrite other packages files. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Preparing to unpack .../python3-satpy_0.31.0-1_all.deb ... Unpacking python3-satpy (0.31.0-1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/python3-satpy_0.31.0-1_all.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/benchmarks/__init__.py', which is also in package python3-skbio 0.5.6-4 dpkg-deb: error: paste subprocess was killed by signal (Broken pipe) Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/python3-satpy_0.31.0-1_all.deb That is an overly generic python module name, either don't ship benchmarks/*.py at all (python3-skbio fixed it this way in sid, #991981) or move them to a namespaced location, e.g. benchmarks/satpy/*.py. cheers, Andreas
