I offer to have a look, I think I am responsible for this. In order to fix bug #1011468 in barclay [2], I removed some classes in barclay. Before doing so, I identified some classes that should also be removed in picard-tools afterwards. But because of bug #1012214 in gradle [3], I figured out I coult not upload picard-tools with these classes removals for now, as the package would not build anyway. I have to check again.
I will just look at it again and provide more information in the current bug thread.
