Dear firewalld maintainer

firewalld conflicts with kodi-data package and prevents the installation of
firewalld.

The system has the following packages of kodi installed.

ii  kodi                                          5:19.4-dmo5
     amd64 Open Source Home Theatre (executable binaries)
ii  kodi-data                                     5:19.4-dmo5

ii  kodi-inputstream-adaptive                     1:19.0.7-dmo1
     amd64 adaptive inputstream addon for Kodi.
ii  kodi-inputstream-rtmp                         1:19.0.1-dmo1

Those are not official Debian packages but provided by deb-multimeda.org, and unofficial 3rd-party repository. The kodi package in Debian does not ship a conflicting firewalld file, so there is nothing that can be done about it in the Debian package.

$ apt-file search /usr/lib/firewalld/services/kodi-eventserver.xml
firewalld: /usr/lib/firewalld/services/kodi-eventserver.xml

I would kindly ask you to contact the maintainer of the deb-multimedia repo, and ask him to drop the conflicting firewalld service file from kodi-data. Even better is to no use 3rd party packages to avoid such issues.

Regards,
Michael
