I tried to reach you on IRC and by email. Getting no reply, I asked your co-maintainer if he's ok to do that upload. Sergio was ok.

It's not a snapshot, it's a release candidate, allowing to read zstd compressed debug sections and ctf information. Users may expect in a Debian release a gdb which can understand what is shipped with the distro.

I tried my best, however debian/copyright just says:

Source: https://www.gnu.org/software/gdb/download/ w/ GFDL'd files stripped

However, GFDL'd files are allowed. Please be more precise saying that these are GFDL files with invariant sections.

It looks like your script to regenerate the tarball removed all documentation, not just the one with invariant sections.

I also now upload a corresponding gdb-doc package.
