Followup-For: Bug #1036096 Control: found -1 1:0.99.20~pre.178+dfsg-5 The .maintscript files are missing the epoch in the version, therefore the cleanup is not performed on upgrades from bullseye.
Please bump the version in the .maintscript files to 1:0.99.20~pre.178+dfsg-6~ s.t. the cleanup is also performed on upgrades from stable to testing (missed cleanup) to unstable (and later testing) (fixed cleanup) Andreas PS: I didn't spot the missing epoch when I had a quick look over the commit ...
