Indeed, I was fixing an RC bug (gal FTFBSed), that's why I uploaded
directly.
Regarding the other bugs fixed, I had the sensation that gal0.x was a bit
abandoned and deserved some extra love. It was not my intention to piss
you off or anything. Just to make Debian better.
