Source: flint X-Debbugs-Cc: dtorra...@piedmont.edu Version: 3.1.1-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, The binary package libflint18t64 ships libflint.so.19, so it should be renamed to libflint19 and there should be a transition. This is causing a number of issues: * Several Lintian warnings and errors: - mismatched-override - package-name-doesnt-match-sonames - shared-library-not-shipped - ships-undeclared-shared-library * The normaliz autopkgtests are failing, e.g., [1]: /usr/bin/normaliz: error while loading shared libraries: libflint.so.18: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory * The macaulay2 builds are failing, e.g. [2]: checking whether the package normaliz is installed... /usr/bin/normaliz normaliz: error while loading shared libraries: libflint.so.18: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [1] https://ci.debian.net/packages/n/normaliz/testing/amd64/44097859/ [2] https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=macaulay2&arch=all&ver=1.23%2Bds-1&stamp=1710934109&raw=0
