I forgot to mention that I'm running an up to date unstable system. Perhaps this is the problem: $ ls -l /usr/bin/python lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Aug 24 16:16 /usr/bin/python -> python2.4 $ python -c 'import sys; print sys.path' ['', '/usr/lib/python24.zip', '/usr/lib/python2.4', '/usr/lib/python2.4/plat-linux2', '/usr/lib/python2.4/lib-tk', '/usr/lib/python2.4/lib-dynload', '/usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages', '/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages', '/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/Numeric', '/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/PIL', '/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/cairo', '/var/lib/python-support/python2.4', '/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/gtk-2.0'] i.e. no /usr/share/ anywhere in the path. My older duplicity package has these files in /usr/lib rather than /usr/share. -- Rob Browning rlb @defaultvalue.org and @debian.org; previously @cs.utexas.edu GPG starting 2002-11-03 = 14DD 432F AE39 534D B592 F9A0 25C8 D377 8C7E 73A4 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
