Package: netbase
Version: 4.26
Severity: serious
Justification: Policy 3.5

hi there,

I hope this "bug" justifies this severity-level. Well, the
netbase package requires "openbsd-inetd", so I'm unable to delete it
from my system, although I don't need it. I use xinetd, which replaces
openbsd-inetd in every aspect as far as I can see.

Maybe the update-inetd program is the reason for this dependency, it
seems to work only with /etc/inetd.conf. But on the other-hand, it
prevents people from deleting openbsd-inetd. I think a message by
update-inetd like "please edit your xinetd-configuration by hand" would
be enough.

bye
johannes
