Oh, I think I get it. Do you perhaps use relative paths in your .mailfilter file? What is the current working directory of the maildrop process at that point? I am able to reproduce the behaviour with a delivery to a relative pathname in my mailfilter file while the cwd of the maildrop process is somewhere else other than $HOME. -- 2.
