See the + at the end of the number of blocks of /dev/hdd3? This
means there's a little space left at the end of the disk, I think.

The trailing - and + signs indicate that rounding has
taken place, and that the actual value is slightly less
(more). To see the exact val‐ ues, ask for a listing
with sectors as unit.
This is not the case for /dev/hdc (and on my own systems).
