Dear maintainer(s),

Python 3.13 removes a large amount of so called 'dead battery' libraries from the standard library. As such, code that imports these libraries will no longer work in Python 3.13, which is the targeted version for Trixie.

The following removed libraries were found in this package:

cgi: testing/web-platform/tests/tools/runner/report.py:9
cgi: testing/web-platform/tests/tools/wptserve/wptserve/request.py:4
cgi: third_party/aom/test/gviz_api.py:25
imghdr: testing/marionette/harness/marionette_harness/tests/unit/test_screenshot.py:7
imghdr: testing/web-platform/tests/webdriver/tests/support/asserts.py:1
pipes: js/src/tests/lib/results.py:2
pipes: python/mozbuild/mozbuild/action/node.py:5
pipes: taskcluster/android_taskgraph/job.py:6
pipes: testing/mozbase/mozdevice/mozdevice/adb.py:7
pipes: testing/xpcshell/runxpcshelltests.py:10
pipes: third_party/libwebrtc/build/android/apk_operations.py:16
pipes: third_party/libwebrtc/build/android/gyp/util/build_utils.py:15
pipes: third_party/libwebrtc/build/chromeos/test_runner.py:12
pipes: third_party/libwebrtc/build/env_dump.py:12
pipes: third_party/libwebrtc/build/print_python_deps.py:17
pipes: third_party/libwebrtc/build/vs_toolchain.py:12
pipes: third_party/python/dlmanager/check.py:8
telnetlib: testing/mozbase/mozrunner/mozrunner/devices/android_device.py:14
telnetlib: testing/mozbase/mozrunner/mozrunner/devices/emulator.py:11

See this link for more details: https://peps.python.org/pep-0594/#deprecated-modules

Cheers,

None of these really matter, except
python/mozbuild/mozbuild/action/node.py, and that one was fixed upstream
in 128.4.0esr.

Please feel free to reopen if you actually FTBFS using python 3.13, but
as far as I know, that wouldn't be the case.

Mike
