libept will not be part of the next stable release, please remove
your dependency on it.
Likewise, debtags is stale and not going to be updated (the site to feed
the actual metadata into the archive is gone!), please also remove your
dependency on it.

Version: 2.9.0
thanks
2.9.0 contains a complete rework of the underlying package-database
parsing falling back to apt-cache, apt-get and dpkg.
The debtags plugins was also removed. Thanks for pointing out, that
debtags was officially discontinued.
