This package depends on cogl, which has been unmaintained upstream for
several years. The GNOME team has been trying to remove cogl and clutter
from Debian since at least 2022, but we missed gxr in previous rounds of
bug reports because it only depends on the lower-level cogl library.
I think it's time we seriously look at removing Clutter and cogl during
the Debian 14 cycle, so I'm filing this as RC for forky.
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/Initiatives/-/issues/31 has some porting
notes for projects that are part of GNOME, which might be useful
inspiration for porting this package.
