According to saghul, this could be fixed by updating aiodns to 4.0.0:

That would unbreak poezio without having to wait for them to migrate to
the new query format. New format that would require aiodns 4.x anyway.

But now I see in https://bugs.debian.org/1124323#68 that this aiodns update
is quite involved and can not be done soon?

Is it OK if I open a wishlist bug about aiodns 4.x, sum up the situation in it,
and merge all current bugs with it? That way there would be a central place
with all required information about the API breakage, that we could link to
when opening bug reports against packages that do not work with pycares 5.x yet.

(I can only help on the bug reports front, I do not have the Python skillset
to update the affected packages still expecting the 4.x pycares API)
