I was actually able to get Rails to pass with Minitest 6. Upstream I'm not sure they'll support it, but a patch was presented. >https://github.com/minitest/minitest/issues/1040 > >This update is causing the autopkgtests of the majority of dependencies to >fail. > >https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/ruby-minitest > >As Debian currently has rails 7.2.3, I would recommend we upload >ruby minitest 6.0.1+really5.27.0 to unstable and 6.0.1+really6.0.1 >to experimental. I don't think that Debian is ready yet for ruby-rails 8.x. This is done now. I was forced to disable tests for the 6.0.1+really5.27.0-1 since it uses the previous version of Minitest to run tests, so a followup upload is needed. I'll do that tomorrow. >Redmine, at least, isn't. Agreed. Fortunately there shouldn't be much more there. Thanks for your attention to this, Simon Quigley [email protected]
