Thank you everyone for taking care of this problem.
We have a Debian testing VM in our CI system but 1) its plugged on the
upstream branches and 2) it is updated regularly to the latest version
but not that frequently.
You were faster and more efficient. Thank you (and also for the sanity
check/update of d/salsa-ci.yml and d/control)!
We will make sure to check this for the next upstream release.

No worries, thanks for your work on the patch to camitk and
having identified that the only change needed was indeed the
compiler hint! I've been busy afk since gdcm upload yesterday
evening, so I appreciated to see the issue went resolved behind
my back. :)
Also thanks to Santiago Vila, who proceeded to a team upload to
get the issue sorted without the delay incurred by the NMU!
