0.49.0+ds-1 no longer builds in unstable. Twenty tests fail, all with: cannot decode "...", export data version 5 is greater than maximum supported version 4 golang-1.27 1.27.2-1 added V5 to internal/pkgbits, so the compiler now writes export data the vendored internal/pkgbits in 0.49.0 cannot read. Upstream has it since v0.50.0. I built 0.52.0+ds here: the error is gone, the twenty tests pass, and five tests that upstream adds or renames need adding to the skip list in debian/rules. With those, the build is successful and lintian is quiet apart from the usual no-manual-page warnings. Sent as https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-golang-x-tools/-/merge_requests/2 I also tried moving the package to dh-go in the same branch and dropped it: it breaks 75 tests that assume GOPATH mode, mostly the stringer end-to-end ones, because dh-go forces GO111MODULE=on.
