Package: libmail-mboxparser-perl Version: 0.54-1 Severity: serious Justification: FTBFS in i386, likely to fail everywhere, and doesn't fail cleanly, causing unecessary long build times
Hi, During a rebuild of all packages in etch, I discovered that your package failed to build on i386. It hanged during the tests. I could also reproduce this in a sid chroot. Relevant parts: /usr/bin/make test make[1]: Entering directory `/tmp/libmail-mboxparser-perl-0.54' PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/bin/perl "-MExtUtils::Command::MM" "-e" "test_harness(0, 'blib/lib', 'blib/arch')" t/*.t t/0_pod.................skipped all skipped: Test::Pod not installed t/0_pod_coverage........skipped all skipped: Test::Pod::Coverage not installed t/10_qpnames............ok t/1_mmb.................ok t/2_for.................ok t/3_while............... [ Never goes further ] The full build log is available from http://ox.blop.info/bazaar/buildlogs/20061024/ About the archive rebuilt: The rebuilt was done on about 60 AMD64 nodes of the Grid'5000 platform, using a chroot containing an etch i386 environment (not unstable). Internet was not accessible from the build nodes. About Grid'5000: The Grid'5000 project aims at building a highly reconfigurable experimental Grid platform gathering 9 sites and featuring a total of 5000 CPUs. Its main purpose is to serve as an experimental testbed for research in Grid Computing.
