Simon, are there plans to fix this FTBFS bug? I went on it while looking at packages that have longstanding l10n issues (usually debconf translations) for the NMU campaign aimed at fixing these trivial bugs (see http://people.debian.org/~lwall/i18n/).
However, this FTBFS prevents any firther action. Your last comment on this bug is back in March. Are there plans to make progress? If you have such plans, I'd like to suggest you to drop the debconf note, which is close to be debconf abuse, imho (you may disagree...:-)). If you do so, that would of course automatically close the debconf translation bug reports. --
