yeah, fontconfig will not regenerate caches when you install new copies of existing fonts without forcing it to; it relies on the modtime of the target directory instead of checking the modtime of each file within the directory. The dejavu font package should probably run fc-cache -f /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu to make sure the cache is up-to-date. I'm not sure what the deal is with defoma; it's now making links to every font file in /var/lib/defoma/fontconfig.d and it really shouldn't do that. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
