Package: libxklavier
Version: 2.2-4
Severity: serious

Well, i am not fully sure that this is the right place to report this bug too.
When using the gnome applet to change keymaps, i get (sorry for french) :

    The X.Org Foundation
    70101000

And the two commands yield :

    $ xprop -root | grep XKB
    _XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "xorg", "macintosh", "us", "", ""
    _XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "xorg", "macintosh", "us,us", ",intl",
    "grp:alts_toggle"
    $ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
     layouts = [us  intl,us]
     model =
     options = [grp grp:alts_toggle]
     overrideSettings = true

This make it impossible to switch keymap, which is something which is needed
for cases such as myself where i have an US keyboard, but need to use the
deadkeys keymap to get the french accented letters.

Friendly,

Sven Luther

Well, as subject says, this seems fixed since i upgraded yesterday.

I guess this will forever remain a mysterious bug.
