What more information do you want ? I think you said this was in the camp of upstream now ? And you asked me to contact them. Which admitelly i have not yet done, but which i also believe is somehow the job of the package maintainer. > If not then it should be downgraded or closed. I strongly object to this. As said, i installed Yellow Dog Linux, and it had no such problem, so i think we can exclude any kind of hardware problem, and this is a serious regression. > If you need more help with debugging you can find me on IRC. Yeah, just right now i don't have time for this, i need to find it though, i need the box to go into production again ASAP. But any hint about how to find out why udevd kills the pipe would be welcome, i was told to write a C program which writes to stdout, and reports the exact error message. Also, another idea would be to debug the problem on the udevd side, but the quick glance i had was not enough to allow me to do this in a meaningful way. Like always, time is missing to further investigate this. Friendly, Sven Luther -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
