Trying to access the Drift font via any application causes an immediate crash of the entire X server. To reproduce the bug, install xfonts-gimpers package and try to access the Drift font via any method. Scrolling through font lists in a GUI application or, like I did at first, try to launch gnumail. My suggestion for this bug is to remove the Drift font from xfonts-gimpers package.
