Severity: serious

The most egregious example is Steve Langasek's most recent message
to debian-devel-announce (titled
"Transition time: KDE, JACK, arts, sablotron, unixodbc,net-snmp, php, ...").

There's another message from him, in the thread on debian-devel between
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/11/msg00004.html
and
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/11/msg00009.html
which is missing. I don't know what else is missing.

This is really quite problematic; losing messages to d-d-a is a bad, bad
thing.
